If you’re on a budget and still want to look nice, you need to try these affordable makeup products.
If you follow IG influencers and beauty bloggers you are often bombarded with high-end expensive brands which you can’t always afford.
And although this makes me pretty pissed off, the fact that is so difficult to find cheap makeup brands that have a great performance…I would love to see more people reviewing them and sharing tips on social media, instead of forcing viewers to take more of their pockets. And I thought that’s precisely what you would like to see today.
First of all, I love makeup. I love checking out tutorials, see amazing transformations and tips, yet I’m so far away of what you could consider a beauty guru. So yes, I’m simply a person that uses makeup everyday, has super sensitive skin and doesn’t like to spend too much money on products.
If you’re like me I advise you to keep on reading.
Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation
After I use moisturizer (because it’s really important to hydrate your skin before using makeup) I always go for this foundation! I have been using it for like 6 months now and I simply can’t get enough.
It has a long lasting matte formula which is perfect for oily acne-prone skin, and provides enough coverage to hide acne scars, redness and dark circles. I have sensitive skin and this foundation has never caused any reactions to it which is also very nice.
It lasts a full day at work and provides a flawless matte finish. Just make sure to blend in quickly because it dries fast. I only don’t recommend this product for people with dry skin and dewy finish lovers, above that it’s pretty awesome.
Catrice Nude Illusion Loose Powder
After using foundation I still need to keep everything in place with powder and recently I started using this one called Nude Illusion. I have been pretty into translucid powders just because they don’t add any color to your skin and provide a more natural look. (Catrice is actually one my favorite cheap makeup brands right now so I’m sorry if I’m becoming too repetitive.)
This one has a soft velvety finish and allows your makeup to stay on all day. I have a pretty oily skin and never had problems with this product. The best part is: it doesn’t look cakey!
KIKO Glow Fusion Powder Highlighter
I actually use this product both as highlighter and eye-shadow. I simply love its golden sparkly shade (which you clearly can’t see in this photo) and beautiful finish that gives a whole new dimension to the face.
Its powder formula provides a soft focus effect to the skin, as well as an illuminating velvety finish. A smooth texture combined with good pigmentation. I use the shade 02 by the way.
It’s glamorous, girly and looks very nice on the skin!
Essence All Eyes on Me Multi-Effect Mascara
This is the cheapest product I have in my makeup bag right now yet it’s one of my favorites. I love this mascara because it’s super easy to apply and instantly gives a boost to your lashes with only one passing.
It features a multi-effect brush which gives extra volume, thickness, length and curl to your lashes within a rich texture. It’s very pigmented yet it takes some time to dry so be careful.
I just wish I had the waterproof version tho.
Kiko Smart Fusion Lipstick
There’s no way we can have an outfit looking bomb without a good lipstick. And this one is probably the coolest and cheapest option you will find today.
This Kiko collection features 36 different shades yet I fell in love with the 429 Pearly Mauve! This lipstick has a creamy rich texture that gives a soft, healthy glow to your lips in an easy and smooth application. It lasts pretty well and has a light-weight formula.
If you’re more into matte lipsticks I don’t recommend this one.
These are definitely the best makeup products to use if you’re on a budget and still want to look beautiful. Keep in mind that each skin is different so these might not work well on everyone.
Let me know if you tried any of these down below, and share a few other options. 🙂
