3 Horror Movies To Watch This Autumn

3 Horror Movies To Watch This Autumn

Grab some popcorn and a few friends, here are 3 horror movies to watch!

I have to be honest with you I rarely ever watch movies when its Summer (so don’t mind the heading). Don’t hate me but I’m the true synonym of extrovert, especially when there’s a beautiful sunny day shining trough. So I have not seen any of these horror movies recently (only anime and a few tv shows), but I expect to re-watch every single one of them when autumn comes back… just because they’re pretty awesome and I have no life.

If you’re a horror movie addict like me you know it’s pretty difficult to find an ok one to watch, because the stories often become pretty repetitive. You already know when the doors are about to close and that the black character will probably die first. It’s a real struggle to find a good movie to watch with your friends and get them pretty scared out.

Although for me, none will ever beat The Ring, The Grudge, Haunting in Connecticut and The Exorcism of Emily Rose, these ones were pretty interesting to watch, and I thought you would like to give it a try.

So here’s my list of Horror Movies to watch this and the upcoming season!

GET OUT

3 Horror Movies To Watch This Autumn

Although there are still a few months to go until the end of 2017, “Get Out” is probably still going to be number one in my new horror movies‘ list. This was by far one of the most interesting stories I have ever seen when it comes to horror films and I definitely recommend for the experience and mystery.

Director and writer Jordan Peelee sure did a great job with the movie’s concept on racism and slavery, providing an innovative perception in horror in general. It’s about a black young man who visits his white girlfriend’s house and finds himself in a unbelievable hate-dominated reality where he must escape from.

So, if you are sick of haunted houses and weird spirits, you definitely must give “Get Out” a chance.

Our Score:  8

SPLIT

Split was pretty awesome I really have to say that. This film actually made me feel nervous and anxious, just because it can actually somehow happen in real life (you know what I mean).

The story evolves around a mentally ill guy who was diagnosed with 23 different personalities. After kidnapping three teenage girls in a parking lot, the mission was to try to awaken a 24th personality who “they” called Beast.

James McAvoy’s performance was pretty impressing in my opinion, and truly captured the character’s sick essence.  I think this is a horror movie worth to watch since it combines action, horror and thriller in a captivating way.

Our Score: 7.4

A Dark Song

3 Horror Movies To Watch This Autumn

Forget about the old “Geny in the Bottle” myth, there’s a whole new method to get your wishes come true… although you might not get out alive.

A Dark Song” is about a damaged woman who seeks for revenge and joins a fanatic occultist to perform a ritual. The dangerous practice involves being in an isolated house that should not be left until the whole process is over. Yap. I know what you’re probably thinking but I bet you didn’t see one quite like this.

I just have to make one comment: the ending might be disappointing for some. Other than that, a scary movie with a few interesting twists going on. A must!

Our Score: 6.8

Hope you enjoyed this small horror movies list, and make sure to schedule with your friends for a scary and fun evening! Also don’t forget to share your opinion and recommendations so we can check out later. See you next time!
