6 PC Games Every Gamer Needs to Play At Least Once

These PC Games will make you want to go to your man cave and never see the light of day again.

I must confess… I’m a big fan of PC Games. I like almost any kind of games. If they are good I will play them. From indie games to full blasted AAA titles, from story telling to action packed games like Overwatch, I like them all. What can I say? I’m a gamer from the PC Master Race! If you’re like me today’s your lucky day. Today I gathered a small list of my ultimate favorite PC Games to share with you. Take a look below.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition

PC Games You Should Play Right Now

This is a must for anyone that calls himself a gamer. Witcher is by far one of the best games that I’ve ever played! The game play is challenging, the story brilliant and the graphics insane. You play as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter also known as Witcher who is looking for his daughter Ciri who is running from the Wild Hunt, an otherworldly force determined to capture and utilize her powers. You will visit many places and fight monstrous beings and foolish mans that will get on your way. The main story has multiple endings, so be careful with the choices you make along your journey.

If you’re reading carefully you can see that I’ve recommended the Game Of The Year Edition which contains two more games… sorry…  two more expansions that look like two full games, the Hearts Of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions that you can’t miss.

By now everyone knows Overwatch. It has millions of players almost everyday playing online. And why is that? Because is pure fun! This game is so well balanced and so much fun to play that will make you think the money you’ve spent buying it is the most well spent money of your life! You have various heroes, each with one role and you should pick one that fits your team of 6 heroes. You will face another team of 6 heroes and try to secure and conquer control points or escort a payload across the map in a limited amount of time. These games can be casual or competitive ranked games. You also win some cosmetic rewards for your heroes every now and then, like some sweet skins or victory poses.

Grand Theft Auto V

PC Games You Should Play Right Now

You’ve probably played one of the GTA games at some point of your life. If you didn’t you should feel incomplete. But nothing is lost, Rockstar Games released the Grand Theft Auto 5 not so long ago, the game that broke industry sales records and became the fastest-selling entertainment product in history, and let me tell you, it’s the best of the series! The story is pretty innovative also, you play with 3 lead protagonists, Michael, Trevor and Franklin which you can choose anytime during your gameplay. This time the main story is centered in a series of heists that are so rewarding to plan and execute and has multiple surprising endings. You can also play online, and that’s the real value of this game, you will roam free alone or either do missions with your mates and experience the chaotic Los Santos city.

Far Cry 3

PC Games You Should Play Right Now

With the announcement of Far Cry 5, I couldn’t help but to recommend Far Cry 3. This was a game that I enjoyed playing so much! It presented me to one of the most iconic villains of all time, Vaas was his name and you probably already heard his definition of insanity: “Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact… same fucking thing… over and over again expecting… shit to change…” check the rest here. The main story is set on a tropical island. After a vacation goes awry, you must save your friends, who have been kidnapped by pirates and escape from the island and its unhinged inhabitants. The game gives you the ability to scout ahead and plan your attacks and if you do so, you will have some pretty good fun conquering all the pirates outposts.

You should also check the expansion that was released later, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon which is simply hilarious to play and shouldn’t be missed. You can buy it here and see some great moments of this expansion here.

I still remember playing this game back in 2010 in those quiet days. It was so enjoyable. Limbo is the perfect game for those days. The set is dark as you can see in the picture above and the game mechanics are pretty simple, it’s just a sidescroller game after all, but the art is so charming and the attention to detail astonishing. You are an unnamed boy that must go through dangerous environments and traps searching for your sister. The developer built the game’s puzzles expecting the player to fail before finding the correct solution, they called the style of play “trial and death”, and used gruesome imagery for the boy’s deaths to steer the player from unworkable solutions.

PC Games You Should Play Right Now

This game is a piece of art. Created by Toby Fox alone, this game puts you on the skin of a human child who has fallen into the Underground, a large, secluded region underneath the surface of the Earth, separated by a magic barrier. The player meets various monsters during a quest to return to the surface, which you can fight or choose to be non-violent. Every action counts in this game even in different playthroughs with different saves, what you see is influenced by your actions in previous playthroughs, and the game will constantly judge you by your acts and make you feel like a monster yourself. Undertale is surely a game you shouldn’t pass.

There are some games that marked me in a numerous of ways and, if you decide to play some of them, hope you enjoy it as much as I did, and if you feel like it, leave a comment telling how your experience was.
